Ichiro Suzuki is a Japanese-born menswear designer based in Paris.
In 2006, He joined Savile Row bespoke tailors Henry Poole & Co. where he was trained in the art of cutting.
'Ichiro Suzuki, Works 2007-2013' displays a range of menswear designed and created by Ichiro Suzuki between 2007 and 2013.
Ichiro twisted the norms of British tailoring and used patchwork, striped clothes and the Scottish tweed in unexpected ways. It's the "bio-geometric tailoring".
The creative journeys - from initial ideas to final concepts - are the ideal scenarios into which Ichiro can channel his imagination and influences. His aim is to revitalise the customs of tradition by injecting an artistic and unique approach, whilst still embodying the luxury that the highest echelons of tailoring and fashion can still offer. In short, his creations are a successful marriage between sartorial obsession and innovative design.
Ichiro lives and breathes design, and thus aspires to create designs that live and breathe themselves.
